Volunteer Opportunity. Salt Lake County Aging Services Bridges Volunteer Program is looking for people in the Sandy area interested in mentoring and tutoring children who are struggling with reading, writing, math or spelling. Here is an opportunity to develop a positive relationship while tutoring a child once or twice a week in a local school. Training is provided. If you or someone you know is interested in helping a child have a successful year in school, call Cathy Hashimoto, 468-2188. It could make a difference in a child’s life, and it might make a difference in yours. .
How to Volunteer? Easy, there are plenty of positions and opportunities to help, before volunteering we encourage you to come to our volunteer orientation held every 4th Wednesday of the month at 2:00pm. Call John Warnke to confirm.
